Paul The Octopus Could Be Worth MILLIONS (PHOTOS)

MILLIONAIRE OCTOPUS? World Cup Prophet Could Be Rich

Paul the Octopus, the precious prophet whose prescient predictions proved unprecedented during the World Cup, could become a millionaire mollusk if he plays his cards right. The underwater intellectual could be worth $4.5 million, PR specialist Max Clifford tells CNN.

The German genius shocked the world by retiring from the prediction profession, but the brilliant octopus could still be available for commercials and other endorsements.

A London marketer imagined one possible marketing effort: "A good use for him would be in adverts featuring two competing brands, such as Coke or Pepsi. Which does Paul prefer?"

Indeed, one Pepsi ad already features an octopoid endorsement, but it lacks Paul's personal seal of approval.

While Paul may be able to provide lucrative services to marketers, he could face increased danger if he becomes a moneyed mollusk. He already received death threats during the World Cup.
