The majority of these items are lame, excessive consumption consumer bait. You can do without all of them and still have a great summer. The most useful are the items that protect items from sand/water, but even those are bloated in price. Leave your stuff at home and save many bucks. The case that protects your camera seems the most useful. And if you surf, the iPhone app. The others are just more ¢r@p for the landfill.
