Blagojevich Ringtones: Bleeping Golden Blago Moments To Download

Blago

While the jurors sitting through hours of testimony might disagree, the past few weeks of the Rod Blagojevich corruption trial have been pretty amusing for the rest of us.

We may be missing out on the ex gov's weird gestures that earned him a tongue lashing from Judge James Zagel, but we have been able to hear the wiretapped conversations that made this trial so much more "golden" than other political corruption trials. (See, the bad pun potential is endless.)

Blagojevich could take the stand in his own defense as soon as next week, surely providing more amazing quotes. For now, though, the crew at the State Journal-Register in Springfield are providing readers with free Blagojevich ringtones.

Some of our faves?

The classic...

"I've got this thing and it's (expletive) golden. And I'm just not giving it up for (expletive) nothing."

The hilarious...

"I (expletive) busted my (expletive) and (expletive) people off and gave your grandmother a free (expletive) ride on a bus. Okay? I gave your (expletive) baby a chance to have health care."

And the very best...

"Only thirteen percent of you all out there think I'm doing a good job. So (expletive) all of you."

Download all these (and more) here.

Being from the land of Lincoln, I'm probably a little biased. That said, Blagojevich is a criminal who got caught. It seems that these days it's not "wrong" to be a criminal so long as you don't get caught. The sad thing is, we'll most likely end up having to go through something similar with his replacement Pat Quinn. Illinois is (expletive deleted).

Rod Blagojevich has one of those personalities that is loud and boisterous. I think he just got too full of himself and spouted off at the mouth too much.

This man is using his mistakes like a badge of honor. American ingenuity and Serbian resourcefulness.
I am afraid that he is setting a bad example.

I love this guy. If he walks Im going to buy a ticket up to Chicago just to laugh in this prosecutors face. So far this case has been pure garbage!!! No really I can't stand Blago, but the case really is garbage. Like the guy or not cases like this should never ever see a courtroom.

Why should cases like this not see a courtroom? This man allegedly committed a federal crime. Just because he himself is a joke and a total loon doesn't mean he shouldn't be tried for this crime. This isn't a garbage case. They have evidence of the crime hence he goes to trial. The man was voted out of office from this, I would say that it is deserving of a trial.

The man was "voted out of office", as you put it, by politicians who have done the very same things he is accused of doing and they are afraid that the same spotlight will be turned on them one day. Playing along with the prosecutor and piling on the governor before he was really tried--in a court--makes them feel safer. It is very Stalinist when you think about it: turn someone in before someone else turns you in.

You're kidding, right? He's a pycho that needs to be removed from the streets.
