Learn your history of this time period. What were the Romans and Persians doing in Arab lands? They were brutal colonizers. Khalid ibn Alwalid under the prophet sws did away with these invaders. What of the Mongol invasions in Muslim lands? Then the Christian crusades again in Muslim lands. Learn this history correctly. The Spain saga was brought about by persecutions of Jews in Spain, a letter of duress was received by the Amir Mu'mineen in Morocco. Muslims fought for injustice and in self defense. How did Islam spread threw southeast Asia? no sword! West Africa? no sword! other parts of Africa? no sword! Even India, the Muslims ruled for 1000 years, and yet, Hindus, and others were allowed to maintain their religions. How about Indonesia? no sword! Yes, the Romans and rightfully so were put to the sword and so where the Persians, Mongols and later Christian crusaders were put to the sword and driven out. And finally Europe came again to colonize and section off the Middle East as we see today. The Euros have been aggressors in the Middle East for nearly 2000 years. Why have you failed to mention this?

That is a bunch of lies and distortions. The prophet sws sent letters to four rulers and one of them was the Negus of Ethiopia. The Negus of Ethiopia is honored in Islamic traditions. The prophet sws did not attack him! Matter of fact, you should check history of Islam before you write such nonsense. The first migration of the Muslims was to a Christian king in Ethiopia. He sent letters to Persia and Constantinople urging them to accept Islam. And these two powers at that time where colonizers of a brutal nature in Arab lands. When Islam came about, the Romans and Persians persecuted many newly converted Arabs to Islam and these two were thrown out of Arab lands in war. Today, insurgencies and their methodology runs contrary to the teachings of the Qur'an (Surah Al Taubah). But what has caused these insurgencies and you failed as most western writers seem to do, American intervention, interdiction, invasions of Muslim lands, and killing 1 million in Iraq and countless numbers in Afghanistan and now Pakistan. This is a strong factor of the insurgencies bent on killing Americans in their homeland; as the Americans did in theirs. Revenge is wrong when innocent lives are taken this is on both side of this case. Irresponsible writing and articles by western writers on Islam are capricious, uncouth, historically incorrect and many times racist. I urge you to review the history and learn the seerah of the prophet sws and tafseer of Qur'an.
