A 35-year old Dutch man has been arrested at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport as he was trying to board a flight to the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao with a loaded pistol in his jacket pocket, according to the Associated Press.

There is no indication that the man was trying to pull off a terror attack (they caught him during a routine security check); the airport has been on higher alert since Christmas Day 2009, when Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian student, flew from the airport to Detroit with explosives in his underwear. Abdulmutallab allegedly tried to detonate the explosives over the United States before being subdued by passengers and crew.
