'Hezbollah-Land': Terrorist Theme Park Opens In Lebanon (VIDEO)

"Hezbollah-Land," located in the small mountain town of Mleeta in Lebanon, is an up and coming museum-style theme park that offers a glimpse into the decades-long struggle between the Shiite Muslim group, Hezbollah, and Israel.

The "Terrorist Disneyland" has a number of attractions, including what they call "the Abyss," in which there are stockpiles of decommissioned Israeli military equipment.

According to the park's guide, "We're going to build motels, playgrounds, camping areas, even spas or swimming pools so that all of the visitors -- especially our people -- can come here and spend their weekends or vacations."

The town where it is located, Mleeta, is also home to one of the terrorist strongholds that used to conduct operations against Israeli bases.

The theme park and museum is an ongoing effort by Hezbollah to keep its constituents happy. A part of the program, "Construction Jihad," which builds hospitals and homes, the theme park is meant to be an addition to the country's fledgling economy and is advertised as a vacation destination for those who cannot afford the more expensive luxury resorts in Lebanon.

OK, I hate to say it, but how is this place any different to any of the other battlefield sites or military museums you would find elsewhere in the world. If I was to draw a parallel would you classify people who re-enact the Confederacy forces of the American Civil War of promoting slavery?

Nice view of Lebanon. As a Lebanese, I'm totally happy with what hezbollah is telling the world about my country. What a shame. The entire country have progressed, tourists coming from every where this summer, and these terrorists are still holding our country back. And now holding us all in fear of using their "resistance" weapons again against us.

A war museum! Something to be proud of really

This story reads like an Israeli propaganda!

No matter what you think of hezb, the repeated use of the word "terrorist" in this context is a bit weird, to say the least.
11:16 PM on 07/21/2010
Weird, but true.

Hezbollah, the group proscribed as a terrorist organization by the state department as a terrorist group being referred to as terrorists? You're right, that makes no sense at all.
07:32 AM on 07/24/2010
So you get your world view from the proscriptions of the state dept.?

Again, even if that's the case, to describe as "terrorist" a theme park that is dedicated to the fight agaisnt Israel's occupation of South Lebanon and shows weapons captured from invading Israeli forces is absurd.

Hezbollah nor Hamas are NOT fundamentalist religious fanatics.

You people believe that 'cause you- know- who controls the world media, banks, and soft drinks companies don't let you find out the Truth.

The Truth is this:
H.A.M.A.S actually means (Humane Atheist Marxists for Agrarian Socialism)!!!!

And Hezbollah stands for ( Humane Ecological Zone for Botanical Legume based Liberal Actualized Hipsters).

Pass it on. Don't believe the fake news spread about these two progressive organizations.

Hamas is actually short for Hasbara Arabs for a Militant Alternative State....everybody knows that!

Denial, blame and projection are typical forms of explanation for failure and need for belligerence in Islamic societies.
Poverty, illiteracy and scientific backwardness is usually blamed on infidels of the West, pro-Western leaders and Jews, Israeli and otherwise.
This kind of talk allows radical Islamists to continue their devolutionary ways. That is certainly much easier that the hard work required to build a well- functioning society.
The truth is that clerical fascism f Hezbollah, Taliban, Hamas, Al Qaedf et al is a model of irrational dysfunction.
Unable to offer a legitimate solution, these entities are increasingly consumed with a fantasy of a world-wide triumph of radical Islam and fantasies of caliphates which has zero relationship to the stark reality on the ground-- poverty, illiteracy, oppression of women and minorities total lack of scientific and technological development.

Ya see.... I hate the illegal occupation of Palestine.

I hate all "religious" states...

I have sympathy for those displaced by the racist white Europeans of the Ashkenazim

but this type of silliness is NOT HELPING

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

"I have sympathy for those displaced by the racist white Europeans of the Ashkenazim."

Do you have sympathy for those indigenous African and Middle Eastern Jewish refugees displaced by systematic oppression, bigotry racism and pogroms in their home countries?
Lemme guess....

"I hate the illegal occupation of Palestine."
Me too. It was terrible that Iraq, Jordan Egypt, Syria, Lebanon invaded and annexed Palestine land made the conflict between Palestrina Jews and Palestinian Arabs an intractable one.

No different than Israel's propaganda mechanisms. Likud, Hezbollah, Hamas--all rightwing extremist parties with militant wings (for Likud, it's the IDF) which bring suffering on everyone.

all of Israel is essentially a military theme park, glorifying tanks, and generals. Most of its prime ministers were either military officers or outright terrorists (Begin, Shamir). Because the Israelis stole the land, they need to keep all its citizens in perpetual army status. A modern Sparta..but Sparta could not last that way..

"All of Israel is essentially a military theme park."
Cute example of indoctrinated mind.
Now back to reality:

Israel-- Most museums per capita than any other country in the wolrd.
Israel-- invents and patents more life saving medical devices in one year than entire Muslims civilization in the last twenty years.
Israel- on of the world leaders in university graduates.
Israel- Nobel Prize in chemistry.
Israel- the only country in the world which increased their tree coverage.
Israel- most advanced solar tech in the word. Most houses are heated by solar power.

Israel is a member of international community. Contributing to the world civilization in many areas: art, music, literature, theoretical physics, math, chemistry, medicine, environmental science, computer science, Internet, hi tech agriculture etc.
Many world companies invest billions of dollars in Israeli RD and hi tech facilities.
This is a definition of a prosperous and free democracy.

Deal with it.

Jordan stole land during the 48 war, I hope you were just as angry at them.

BTW, the 48 war started because the Palestinians and Arab league rejected the two state solution because they wanted all the land for themselves.
