What a shame ! Lindsay Lohan has some talent ! problem is having "coo-coo" NOT role model parents and messing up with dangerous "wrong crowd" ! hope this time she learns a lesson, 4 her own safety !

I wonder how many of these causes she would be able to sit down and discuss to any substantive depth (sans cue cards or prior briefing by her "managers"). I just find it hard to buy into. One of her most published comments was about how she was a "celebrity" and could do anything she wanted (heavily paraphrased). Difficult to mesh the earnestly concerned charity supporter with the shallow, drug abusing, non-empathetic persona she spends most of her time displaying.

Aaronhachie, if I were a Judge and she showed up in my court room with that message on her fingernails, I would assume it was done for my viewing, and I WOULD throw the book at her, just like this judge did. She thinks she tell a judge FU

I am just SO sad the way we humans, who are "supposed" to be intelligent beings, do nothing but build these film stars, Celebs, what ever you want to call them and then love to kick them so hard when they are down. Look at the amount of suicides over the last year and a half. We need to be kinder to each other more then ever now, as it's so hard for us all. It first seemed to be identified as Road Rage but people are flying in to rage at one another over a parking space??? Or in a shop they have trolley rage. Rage is everywhere. I personally would hate it if I had hurt someones feelings unknowingly. Yes these people are in the public eye but did they sign up to be called names at any opportunity?? NO. How would you feel if you were followed day in and day out by paps trying to get you at your most vunerable moment and then you seeing yourself the next day in the papers and being slagged off. I would hate it and I don't know how they can handle it so yes they deserve a bit of peace and to be left alone. Lindsay hasn't had a normal upbringing so she's bound to act out, even a normal teenager acts out for years sometimes but just not in front of a camera. Leave them alone, their lives are prescious too.

I would give her kudos if she actually DID anything more than pose for a photo or scribble her signature on a ketchup bottle. (okay she did take a first class trip to India. Where was the interview shown?)

Which brings me back to my original thought when I saw the headline. Lindsay's only charity is Lindsay.

I don't doubt that there is a lot of good will in her, and when I first saw the sentnece handed out to her for failing her Probation, I thought it was very harsh... until I saw the message on her fingernails. She got what she deserved, and she could have gotten a harsher punishment, based on her failure to respect certain Authority. Hopefully, she'll become a better person as a result of this, and become a well respected member of society while continuing her Charitable Acts.

It's nice to know she has charitable interests, but the timing of this is suspicious. Did her publicist initiate this to generate a public outcry against jail time? Commenter ANOVA9 has it right.

Can anyone honestly think she's genuinely concerned with anyone other than the reflection in her mirror? She wanted to be left alone by the paparazzi...but she's the one who called them & tipped them off on where she would be and when. She sued - or tried to anyways - E-Trade because she - in her own narcissistic world - thought the Milkaholic named Lindsay was a reference to her. Give me a break, please. The only thing she's cared about for too long now is her bank account, and only to make sure it's padded enough to fund her drug and alcohol problems.
