Pink's Hot Dogs Opens Thursday At LAX

First Posted: 07/22/10 10:48 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 06:10 PM ET

Pink's, the legendary hot dog joint, opens today at 3pm at LAX's Tom Bradley International Terminal, according to Jaunted.

The original Pink's sits on Melrose and N. La Brea Avenues in LA, but this will be the first outpost in the airport. The hot dog shack, which started off as a food cart in 1939, has a massive amount of celebrity clientele (do they eat hot dogs?), including Martha Stewart and Rosie O'Donnell (both of whom have their own hot dogs).

If you're traveling through LAX today, be sure to stop by--they're worth it.

Sure, in TBI, try finding ANYTHING other than BK or Starbuck's in the other terminals. If you fly Virgin, eat before you go the airport because there is nothing to enjoy in T3. Boo!

Can't hold a candle to an authentic Chicago dog.

Tried Joe Mantegna's "Chicago" place in Burbank in January. Not too bad, but the dogs were not "constructed" properly. And, they put Ketchup on them!! Noooo!
