San Diego Comic-Con 2010

First Posted: 07/26/10 04:00 PM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 06:10 PM ET

San Diego Comic-Con 2010 was punctuated with star-studded Hollywood panels for the films Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, The Green Hornet, The Green Lantern, Sucker Punch, Cowboys & Aliens, The Avengers, and The Other Guys.

Highlight: the surprise Scott Pilgrim vs. The World premiere screening at Comic-Con; Washington Post has the write-up.

Lowlight: Fanboys got feisty this year and punctured each other over some seats: two people were stabbed with pens and taken away for medical care while three people were led away in handcuffs, severely delaying Saturday afternoon events in Hall H.

Deadline Hollywood has some advice for next year: a list of 15 movies that need to be made for the Comic-Con set, based on sci-fi books like Stephen King's The Dark Tower and video games like "Halo" and "Gears of War."

The Wrap wraps up the "Epic Wins" and "Epic Fails" of this year's convention, casting Disney as champion and Warner Brothers as loser for the film panels and presentations.
