If you've ever had anything stolen, you know the vindication that can come with confronting the thief and expressing how much they ruined your day/life/sense of security. While this isn't always possible, it can be really cathartic to leave a note for said thief in hopes that they'll return the the scene of the crime some day and sense your frustrations. From various sites including the very funny Passive Aggressive Notes, which is a great one-stop-shop for hilarious notes of all kinds, we found these funny notes left for thieves. We have to say most of the stolen items are either bicycles, laundry, or sandwiches for the most part, with a couple stranger items including an Ocarina (that flute thing from Zelda). Check them out and vote for your favorite!

  • Someone Stole Kanye's Cheese?

Nah, but kudos to this person for not caring about the theft, and for leaving this hilarious note. (Via Carissa Marie's Flickr)

  • Oh, And Also...

H&R Block better watch out for thieves. And on second thought, THIS crazy guy too. (Via Passive Aggressive Notes)

  • Oh, MIke.

It's only a bike! Is it really worth the death threat? Let alone, not sleeping for the rest of your life. (Via 9Gag)

  • You Stole Her Summer!

That's pretty awful. If it had been our nice patio furnishings that had been stolen, we can't say our note would be this nice. Probably it'd be more like Mike's! (Via Buzzfeed)

  • No Free Slurpees

We didn't even know that flavor existed! (Via No You Shut Up)

  • Don't Mess With A Man's Ocarina

This poor, Zelda-loving guy. He can get a new registration and music, but that Ocarina was a gift! (Via Geekologie)

  • She Doesn't Even Want It Back

That bike looks cool! If it were ours we'd want it back, but damning the thief to hell via "Monster Truck" is also pretty awesome. (Via Daily Design Discoveries)

  • Not A Fan Of "The Bicycle Thief"

Maybe if the thief is a film student he'll feel bad and return the bike. But probably not. (Via Passive Aggressive Notes)

  • Wait, What?

We totally get why this person is upset, but why was the underwear on the roof? Seems like an odd place to put your undergarments, especially if they have, ahem, "residents." (Via Passive Aggressive Notes)

  • Who Steals From A Baby?

...Much less an "Infant baby." While the note-writer was a little redundant, the crime is pretty dispicable. (Via stuytownluxliving.com)

  • Mixed Emotions

First, we love the fact that the thief potentially got strep throat. Second, we love how the note-writer took the time to wish the thief a happy holidays at the end, that way the perpetrator gets bad karma AND guilt. • Liam Neeson's Yogurt Was Taken

Thanks Liam! (Not Liam Neeson. That would be all too perfect and we know he's not actually sending us emails. At least we think he's not.)
