Al Gore Sexual Harassment Allegations: Portland Detectives Question Former Vice President In San Francisco
Last week, former Vice President Al Gore was interviewed by police detectives in Portland, Ore. about allegations he groped a licensed massage therapist in 2006, KATU News reports.
Gore has vehemently denied the charges of sexual misconduct that recently came to light when the Portland Police Bureau signaled it was conducting an investigation into the case.
The National Enquirer first broke news of controversy last month.
And now, an unidentified law enforcement official confirms to local Oregon station KATU that Gore underwent questioning by detectives over the matter last Thursday in San Francisco, Calif.:
Officials said the extra review was needed because detectives looking into the matter this past year failed to notify high-ranking officials of the decision to drop the case.
The additional questioning comes on the same day as The Enquirer published the stories of two other massage therapists. Those therapists now claim Gore made unwanted sexual advances toward them. Those therapists worked at hotels in Tokyo and Los Angeles.
