Get well, Jack. But considering your flight record, may I suggest that you hire a pilot?

Greg Biffle has just won the Pocono 500 for Jack Rouch Racing.
Congratulations Greg and Jack!

Roush needs to hire a pilot. 3rd time's a charm, they say

Thankfully he was not near a populated area.
That would be a nightmare scenario.

He was trying to turn left.

his last crash was in a lite weight experimental plane
he clipped a wire landed upside and unconscious in a pond.
the good luck was the pond is in the backyard
of an underwater rescue trained retired marine
who of course runs out the back door
jumps in the pond
gets jack out and revives him.
end of story or so we thought.

Nice approach, ... perpendicular to the runway! Kind of experimental, ... and a bit out of the ordinary. Had he thought he was coming in to Sioux City or some other place?

Hope they are all okay. The pilot should have to face a serious review by the FAA before he gets in the cockpit again.

You didn't read the story did you? It's about a pilot who can't fly who happens to own a race team with cars that are driven by people who can't drive.

I'd give you about 2 minutes on a NASCAR track before you were in the wall.

I am very happy that Jack and his passenger will be ok. I know that Mr. Rousch was injured pretty bad, but is expected to be ok eventually. I go to EAA every year in Oshkosh, WI and I am always amazed that there are not more accidents, considering they usually have between 6 and 10 thousand planes there for the week long celebration. Best wishes to Jack and his passenger and there family.
