Louis Dowler: Kate Winslet's New Model Boyfriend?

Four months after her split with director Sam Mendes, the actress, 34, has been quietly dating British model Louis Dowler, whom she met through mutual friends, according to News of the World.

Winslet and Dowler, also 34, who has appeared in fashion campaigns for Burberry and Paul Smith, have "been on lots of dates and get on really well. It's early days for them but they enjoy each other's company," a source tells the British tabloid.

I really like her and find it sad that she succumbed to the Oscar curse. What is it with actresses divorcing their husbands once they win this award?

I think Marco's point is that "rebounding" sounds so negative and Kate is getting out and dating again, which is positive after somebody tells you "hey, you know what? i'm not really into monogamy" which is what mendes purportedly did.
