We've been expanding the idea, though, with new articles on writing each Wednesday. This week, check out our list of some of the best MFA writing programs in the country, inspired in part by this helpful 2007 article in The Atlantic. What do you think? The creative writing program at BU is known for its notable alumnae and distinguished faculty. The MFA program requires eight courses and thirty-two credits, and the thesis is a minimum of 90 pages in fiction, 35 in poetry, or 80 in playwriting. See more at the BU website.
