Bristol Palin & Levi Johnston Wedding Off: Engagement Ends Because Of Ex Briana Plum, Says Report

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have reportedly called off their wedding, but not because Levi's ex Lanesia Garcia is pregnant, E! News reports. Even Garcia has admitted that Levi isn't the father of her baby, telling UsMagazine.com, "Point blank, it's not true at all. We haven't hung out at all since 8th or 9th grade when we broke up. I don't know where people are getting this. It's not true at all. Levi is not the father of my baby."

Instead, Bristol and Levi have ended their short engagement because Levi's other ex girlfriend, Briana Plum, said some nasty things about Bristol in an interview. A source told E!, "There was also some picture on Facebook of him and Briana and Bristol just said, 'Let's hold off on the engagement.'"

According to E! News, Bristol nixed the wedding plans about one week after it was announced that she and Levi were engaged. Sarah Palin, who wasn't told of the engagement before it was announced it on the cover of Us, hasn't commented. And no word what the reported split could do to the reality show the pair was rumored to have pitched.

A New Hampshire candidate for the state house is taking heat from the state Republican Party after he wrote on a Facebook thread that he wishes former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and the father of her grandson were in the plane crash that killed former Sen. Ted Stevens in Alaska on Monday.

“Just wish Sarah and Levy (sic) were on board,” wrote Keith Halloran, a Democratic candidate for Cheshire County House District 7, referencing Palin and Levi Johnson, the on-again, off-again boyfriend of her daughter.

Stevens and four others died in the crash after the plane headed to a fishing trip slammed into the side of a mountain in Alaska.

The comment from Halloran was in response to a post on Facebook from Republican state Rep. DJ Bettencourt about Steven’s death, who said, “I find it truly sad and sickening that some folks can’t find a way to be positive or at least keep quiet about someone when they pass away.”

The New Hampshire GOP called Holloran’s “outrageous comment” a “new low, even by the standards of the New Hampshire Democrat (sic) Party.”

“His publicly stated death wish for Governor Palin and her family is abhorrent, and has no place in our public discourse,” said NHGOP communications director Ryan Williams.

I never believed this story that Sarah did not know. They wanted levi to say he had lied about the Palins. This was the priority for the Palins. They later tried to get a show and that did not work out, plus Sarah's book for teens was shelved by the publisher like the next day. She made them cancel and pretend she had nothing to do with it.

Bristol has to look at this in a positive way, because this unfortunate incident may have saved her from a marriage that may have been bound for divorce just based on the fact that they were perhaps too young and immature, especially Levi. I'm no fan of Bristol's, but she needs to take care of herself and the baby, make sure that her's and Levi's relationship is cordial and that he sees plenty of the baby for the child's sake, and forge a life and do the best she can. No matter what we may like, she also needs to have a relationship with her silly-acting mother. That's the only way that her mother will learn anything.

Sarah (or Toad) undoubtedly planted the story about Lanesia because they knew it would send Bristol around the bend. If, as indicated by her actions, Bristol is so jealously unbalanced by the mere fact of Levi dating another woman while he was on her hate list, he's been given a second chance of escape. Can you imagine being married to someone like that? Run Levi Run!

Can you imagine if when they got engagement the second time,if it was done in private and not on US Magazine and every tv show which would show it. If it was handle with alittle class, then the break up wouldn't be any one's business either. But they choose to make it the world's business. Maybe somebody need to stop writing in the palm of their hand, and stop focusing on President Obama so much, and take some of that focus home where it seem to be needed.
