Rhinebeck, NY Gets Ready For Chelsea Clinton's Wedding (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 07/31/2010 12:47 pm   Updated: 05/25/2011 5:15 pm

On Saturday morning, Rhinebeck erupted with cameras, tourists, Bill Clinton masks, limousines and people just trying to get ready for Chelsea and Marc's wedding. By the afternoon, Roger Clinton and Ted Danson were out, along with TV reporters, t-shirt vendors and several people dressed up as mice with signs. Around 4 p.m., we found the first photos of designer Vera Wang in town. READ all about the frenzy here. But for those of you putting together a keepsake album, or who just want an inside look at the scene, scroll through the images below.

Well good for her... lovely weather, beautiful town representing "real" America. I'm surprised the Clintons were even allowed to go there, you know since they're supposedly not part of the real America, that small town with the good values that Sarah embodies .

I hope the wonderment of Rhinebeck will go away along with the throngs of unreal people cause the county fair is coming and traffic is bad enough for that...

Liers, Liers, Liers -- the American government is engaged in!
And this Truth Teller, whose exposed the big lie to the Amercan pubic – they call this brave American a Benedict Arnold. Again for exposing "TRUTH!"

Americans are giving their blood and treasury for a war effort that we are told is going dandy!! At a treasury cost of 70 to 100 American lives per month, and probably 50 times that about for our energy forces and civilians population that we conveniently call “colladeral damage!” Plus 7 billion dollars a month in capital infusion to fund this dibacle!! -- capital that is urgently needed right here at home!

For all our sacrifices -- TRUTH is all Americans ask and deserves! The government counters by says "ths Benedict Arnold exposes American lives and our Afghan partners to greater harm!
Really? My question back."Greater harm than we and the people of Afghanistan are already exposed too now? I do not think so -- in the affirmative! And most thinking Americans will agree!

Hold them horses, there Montana! Slow down and take a breath. This article is about a wedding. In the "Style" section. Seems to me you want the "Politics" section. That's down the road. And use use spell check; otherwise people might think you're just ranting.

I love it. People have such passion. You can just feel it, right? And with our wonderful computers you click on something (article, picture etc) and you end up in a completely different website, location etc...as in HuffPost Style Section

So it is so funny when I read triplettam help NYC123 get his bearings straight. Nice touch. Last night on one of the HP posts for Chelsea and Marc's wedding....a HPposter commented in the style seciton " what is this a bunch of fashion - istas ?? " and one HP commented politely back "Hon, this is the style section!"
It's fun to have fun when there is so much heavy stuff coming down the tubes these days. Thanks Chelsea and Marc I have thoroughly enjoyed your wedding and I wasn't even invited. Found me some buddies here in the fashion/style section and we are laughing with you wherever you may be on your wonderful honeymoon. God bless your union.

The media can't stand it because they had nothing to do with this wedding and couldn't control things with their speculation. Good for Chelsea and Mark for doing things their way!
09:48 AM on 08/01/2010
Well put! I agree with your assessment.

What a lovely town. Chelsey and the Clintons must feel very safe there. Apparently so did Madame Albright and Ted Danson. Sweet!
