Limbaugh: 'Tomorrow Is Obama's Birthday, Not That We've Seen Any Proof Of That' (VIDEO)

Right wing radio host Rush Limbaugh has been known to indulge in some pretty bizarre conspiracy theories about President Obama, including the 'birther' movement, and as Obama's birthday approaches, Limbaugh threw another bone to that movement with a quip about the President's birth certificate:

Tomorrow is Obama's birthday, not that we've seen any proof of that... What? We haven't seen any proof of that! They tell us August 4th is the birthday; we haven't seen any proof of that! Sorry. It is what it is.

With the midterm elections looming, Republican leaders are probably loathe to see a figure on the right as powerful as Limbaugh giving any credence to the thoroughly discredited 'birthers.'

Rush was being funny and decided to tweak the libs at huffpo and media matters into jumping on this statement , I know because I was listening , and as usual it worked , he even commented on how long it would take before it went viral, less than an hour by the way . you libs really gotta listen to the source not the biased media matters folks, and get a sense of humor man

Where have YOU been? Limbaugh has the highest rated talk show on the radio and they dont pay him $50 mil a year for nothing. He has a huge audience and the democrats, including the president, always bring his name up. That is certainlly not due to his 'irrelevancy'. Listen to his program and you will realize that he is right on. DOnt be guided by the opinions of others who have never listened to him.
Rush is more relevant and influential than ever, thank GOd.

If you ever listened to entire show versus snippets - you might learn what sacarism is.
You might find out when you're being had.
You compalin about Sherrod being taken out of context but have no trouble labeling Rush
a racist or birther when he is niether.

LOL .... it's so funny. I barely listen to Rush but the few snippets I hear he's alway predicting which of his sarcastic comments will be picked up by Huffpo and Media Matters to drive the liberals insane with anger. He gets it right every time. It's funny, I can't think of a single talk show host, network, publication that drives me so crazy I have to rant about it every day. I realize I have a choice and don't have to read, listen or watch that which is abhorrent to me. Thanks though libs, for continually putting conservatism in the limelight....we couldn't do this November without you.

It is! Whenever I come across him ( accidentally!) it is rewarding to rewind and watch his gestures---and then play ( muted, of course!) he actually looks like he is going to combust-on TV...you can actually see him grimace ..and then he starts tugging at his ever-cloying shirt...
it is rather comedic..but remember: always on mute--we never want to hear him actually speak!
Try the same with Beck--on mute...he does the very same thing--spontaneous human hissy-fits as comedic entertainment...love it!
