Princess Letizia & Spanish Royal Family Continue To Look Stylish In Majorca (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 08/04/10 05:30 PM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 06:15 PM ET

After hanging out in Palma de Mallorca on Tuesday, Spain's royal family was back out again on Wednesday, first visiting the "Gordiola" museum and then hitting the Royal Sailing Club after the third day of the Copa del Rey regatta.

At the museum, Letizia led the way in casual wear, donning a striped t-shirt, linen pants and flats, with the Queen in olive green. Princesses Leonor and Sofia looked perfect, of course. Later, Letizia changed into white jeans and an embroidered tunic, while the little ladies wore summer dresses and Prince Felipe stuck to dad gear. Take a look.

I agree, Pipetoe! They're perfectly beautiful little girls. And in those veins flows some of the oldest, finest European royal blood. From their grandmother, Princess Sophia of Greece and Denmark, they get the Houses of Hanover, Bourbon and Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. From their grandfather King Juan Carlos, they get another lineage of the House of Bourbon. The House of Bourbon is part of a dynasty that dates to 987. The Hanover and Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg ancestries date from 1635 and 1448, respectively.

I love looking at those cherubic, beautiful, perfect little faces and thinking of the genetics and history they represent. The wars. The nations. The lives. The scope of that history. The scope of that future expectation, too. And they're completely innocent of it all, just kids, like royal kids have always been.

I do think this is partly why they're so beautiful, though, just like the modern issue of most of the European-Scandinavian monarchies. They are long-perfected and represent a rich combination of people whose genes have prevailed.

Well, while these two girls' royal bloodline is certainly esteemed but neither Bourbon nor Grecian royals are known for good looks. Leonor and Sofia have their commoner mother to thank for their extraordinary good looks. Letizia has both Spanish (her father side) and French (her mother side) ascentry. Her looks are clearly showing in her daughters. Leonor is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Sofia is not that far behind. Seeing their photos always make me smile.

SHe is incredibly thin!

Nice family, but she needs to put on a little weight. She's way too thin and doesn't look healthy at all.

Letizia is thin, but she looks like a healthy thin to me. She seems to have all kinds of energy and is happy. If she were truly anorexic, I don't think she could pull off that happy, carefree look. Anorexics who I have known look pained, physically and emotionally pained. There are some people who are just naturally quite skinny. I think she's one of them. Lucky her! :)

I agree. And her hair is full and thick. Hair loss is a symptom/side-effect. I'm inclined to believe she's naturally thin as well. (too bad one can't buy those genes! LOL)

Of course they look great. They don't really have much stress in their life, so that in itself makes for happier and healthier people.

Princess Letizia does not look healthy. Her arms are shockingly thin.... I feel sorry for her.

She's lovely, and her family is lovely. But can you leave her alone for a while? She's looking WAY anorexic.

The 2 little Princesses are So Adorable!
I love the expressions on their faces in these photos (and in the other photo that were published yesterday) They are just so curious about everything going on around them!

Just too cute for words!

She's beautiful. I love the more "candid" pictures of the Prince and Princess when they're looking at each other. They look so genuinely happy and connected. I see the same with the Obamas.

Me, too, msminnie. I love seeing pictures of both families. Both family seem so sweet and dear. Very uplifting. I smile every time I see pictures of both families. :)

Should read..."Both families..." I haven't had my second cup of coffee yet.
