Airport Operator BAA Votes To Strike In Britain

BAA, an airport operator in Britain, voted to go on strike on Thursday, according to CNN.

The union will vote on Monday when to go on strike, but they must give seven days notice before they do. If the strike does happen, six airports in and around Britain will be affected, including Heathrow, Stanstead, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Meanwhile, in other strike news, Spanish airport workers vowed not to strike after all, it was announced on Thursday. Those workers voted to strike on August 3rd, which would have been disastrous for air travel to and from Spain.
