Julianna Margulies BLOWS UP At Reporter Over Oral Sex Question: 'Despicable'

Julianna Margulies erupted at an Associated Press reporter this week during a Q&A about the new season of her show, "The Good Wife."

In a clip shown to reporters, Margulies' character is seen engaging in oral sex with her husband, played by Chris Noth.

"I think that is the first time network television has had an oral sex scene! No? It was pretty racy!" Margulies told reporters, the New York Post's Linda Stasi reports.

But the AP reporter followed-up, asking whether it actually was in fact the first network oral sex scene.

"Have you researched that, Julianna?" the reporter asked, according to Stasi. "Is that the first time there has been an oral sex scene on a network television show?"

At that point, Margulies blew up:

"Honestly, is that the question you are going to ask me? That is despicable," she seethed.

When reminded that he hadn't brought it up, she snapped, "That is disgusting! This is what media is now? That is truly the stupidest question I have ever heard . . . I'm insulted right now. Oh, my God. It's bad enough we have 'Jersey Shore.' "

In the AP story about the show, there is no mention of Margulies' blow-up. But the report does add that the clip has yet to be approved by the CBS standards department.

The show's creators, Robert and Michelle King, discussed the oral sex scene with entertainment site Deadline this week.

"One thing we've bumped up against [the network] on is how we depict oral sex, which we did in our first episode," Robert King said. "How much can we show and how much can't we show? Obviously, we're not cable, so it's limited."
