Die-hard New York Yankees fan Jane Lang got a big surprise on Tuesday when members of the team surprised her at her home in Morris Plains, New Jersey. Blind since birth, Lang says she has traveled to and from the city alone, some 250 times just to go to a game.
Members of the team escorted Lang to Yankee stadium, taking the same train and subway she always has, as part of their HOPE (Helping Others Persevere & Excel) Week of community outreach.
The week of events, which kicked off Monday and will run through Friday, highlight inspirational stories from fans around the country.
