With reports swirling of a Marilyn Monroe film in the works, we've taken a look at more than a dozen people who have channeled the late starlet on red carpets, in photoshoots and even on Halloween.

none of them even comes close.
have you seen marilyn in "some like it hot"? she smiled more than she tried to seduce. her smile was one of her biggest charms. these women take themselves much too seriously to have that carefree, easy going, bubbly spirit she had (atleast on film).

Nobody shown has the sweetness of face that MM had. I think Melanie Griffin (about 15 years ago) could have done a good Monroe.

The best Marilyn Monroe? Marilyn Monroe!! No one today comes close to what she was. Like Audrey Hepburn and Katherine Hepburn. They were unique, one of a kind.

A lot of these woman pay fine homage Marilin, But...

Christina Hendricks would make the best Marilin.

If there is a Monroe movie in the works the role should go to Hendricks.
