San Diego Chargers SLAM Antonio Cromartie

Shortly after New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie struggled to name all eight of his children last week on "Hard Knocks," members of his former team told the Union-Tribune in San Diego about how happy they are without him.

"It's refreshing," said safety Eric Weddle. "I can't tell you how nice it is to come to work every day and not have that in the room and just knowing everyone is on the same page, everyone is behind each other."

Cornerback Quentin Jammer discussed how it is much easier for him now that Cromartie is gone.

"We all know there were guys in the locker room who didn't like him. He didn't like them. We don't have to deal with that now," Jammer said. "It's easier for me now. I tried my best to put out fires, tried to keep the room intact, but it was too much."

Cromartie, who was traded to the New York Jets in March, accused HBO of intentionally making him look bad by re-shooting the scene.
