Rapper Serengeti's New Music Video Big On Chicago Stereotypes (VIDEO)

First Posted: 8/23/10 Updated: 5/25/11

Oh, Chicago stereotypes. Da Bears, da mustaches, da accents, da hotdogs. A new video from Chicago rapper Serengeti has it all.

Serengeti (or David Cohn) grew up on the South Side of Chicago and in suburban Olympia Fields. He has been making what has been described as "nontraditional hip-hop" for more than seven years.

In his latest video, a crew of auto workers dance and eat Italian beef in their Bears and Blackhawks hats. There are also Chicago Bears Zubas involved.

References heard upon first listen: Harold Washington, Ashland Avenue and South State Street. There are many, many more. Thanks to Gapers Block for the tip!
