Tony Blair never struck me as stupid; therefore one wonders just what George Bush is holding over him???

If Milosevic was tried at the Hague, so should these two!
Let's have real transnational justice, for a change.

Yeah, well, try and convince the parents, the friends and the loved ones of those
who actually fought that war, that this was an act of "vision" and "intelligence."

Send that same message to all those who remain behind in Iraq, grieving the
loss of civilian lives.

Better yet, Tony, take some of that money and visit the survivors and grieve
with them.....you sorry SOB.

Well he would say that wouldn't he? to say otherwise would admit that he was wrong to blindly follow Bush in the illegal invasion of Iraq. I really hope the current inquiry into the war will finally expose those two liars.

Look at the two war criminals. I have the feeling when Bush's book comes out, he'll praise Blair for his "foresight" and "support."

Now they have the leisure to write books and enjoy themselves in their mansions - what a shame that the hundreds of thousands of people who have lost their lives, been maimed for life, or live as refugees because of Bush's and Blair's lies won't have the same opportunity.

Agreed but consider this:

1) GWB was a good tool for the neocons. Please consider looking up "Clean Break" + "Perle". It clearly states a policy of toppling Saddam was in place much before "W" was found to serve.
2) This "Strategy" was devised by these neocons to serve Israeli security, and it was presented to then PM Netanyahu to break off Oslo and the 'peace process' with the Palestinians.

And there is the crux of the matter. U.S. foreign policy dictated by Israeli security. Is Israel helping to pay off the trillions in debt from the war in Iraq and can Israel give back the lives of dead men and woman who went there to serve--no. A preemptive strike on a sovereign nation so that Israel could feel secure and the lies told to sell this war to the American people. Now Israel is looking to Iran I use to think that it would be a hard sell especially after Iraq but after November elections if the Republicans win big say hello to "Operation Iran". You want your taxpayer dollars to go for Americans here at home for education, infrastructure repair, healthcare, renewable energy, etc.--then come November, VOTE!

Well Tony, if that's what you have to make yourself believe to be able to sleep at night, then... knock yourself out.

Blair demonstrates himself to be a typical old time English colonialist with a
modern Corporate Globalist face.
08:45 PM on 08/23/2010
I couldn't agree more. I mean....creating an Iraq that is free from Saddam Hussien only to make it safe for Islamofascism, Militant Corporatism, Profieering, and making Chinese bankers rich while ceding the government of the United States to an international Corporate Class that all have a vested take in the contination of this set of circumstances? That is very visionary Tony....visionary for you a$$holes who got rich doing it.

Who is going to be shocked at Blair's "visionary" comment? Maybe the two or three people left in the world who don't know yet that Blair was a world-class brown-noser.
