Back Porch FanHouse:

Marcus Jordan and Jeff Jordan (sons of Michael Jordan, duh) went to Vegas with their teammate A.J. Rompza recently.

We know this because of -- what else -- Twitter. Jeffrey tweeted the following, in which he pointed out that the three were headed to Las Vegas for MJ's fantasy basketball camp.

Let's put this in proper perspective. Jordan and his family is worth over 400 million dollars. Gambling in Vegas is legal. However:

1) The daughter of Rudy Guliani was caught shoplifting
2) The son of Michael Douglass was sentenced to 60 months in prison for dealing crystal meth
3) The son of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett was arrested for possession of a narcotic
4) The son of James Caan was arrested for assault
5) The son of actress Cybill Shepherd was arrested for theft

I could go on and on. These sons and daughter seem to be more worthy of the wrath of folks here than the rich sons of a rich man gambling in Vegas?

When dad is worth over 400 million dollars, why is losing 56K a big deal? That is like someone with parents worth 400 thousand losing 5 grand. This article is hilarious!

I couldn't care less that he is African-American, I say it's an obscenity for anyone to throw away that much cash when people all over the world are in such dire need.

Why is this a story? These people are super-rich.

Definitely a chip off the block. The sad thing is that Jordan's debts allegedly led to his grandfather's death.

I know people that have lost more and don't have the resources of the Jordans. My friend lost their tuition money in about 10 minutes in lLas Vegas.

So what! Rich kids of all races do things that the average kid cannot. Stop hating and debating. When you become rich, then hopefully your kids will be saints.

After watching this documentary on The Hotel Kids of Orange County..this kind of thing really makes me ill. I wish people who go out blowing money could listen to those kids and see how they are living and they are lucky to have roofs over their heads. Not to be a downer..it just seems stupid to me. It's their money and all it just seems frivolous and not at all how I'd spend it if I had it. I am judging them but that money could have really helped some folks who needed it.

Something tells me that the casinos aren't going to give that money back after letting someone under 21 gamble.
