Levi Johnston, Campaigning For Mayor Of Wasilla, Stops By Gun Shop

Levi Johnston, the almost-son-in-law of Sarah Palin and father of her grandson, made one of his first campaign stops in his campaign for Mayor of Wasilla.

He stopped by a gun store.

Johnston was spotted over the weekend at local Chimo Guns in Wasilla, which he visits frequently, TMZ reports. He took photos and handled some guns, including a $2,000 hunting rifle. He did not buy anything while at the store, according to media accounts.

Candidate Johnston wasn't alone on the campaign trail. People Magazine reports:

Throughout his day, he was trailed by a reality TV camera crew, for his proposed series, Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office.

Has there ever been anything in the history of American politics lower than this entire Palin soap opera? No. Serious question. A reality show? WHAT is lower than that?

I remember some wacky stuff during post-Civil War Andrew Jackson era - involving people's wives and stuff. But nothing close to this nightmare.

The Reality Show Syndrome in the U. S. is further dumbing down of gullible Americans. All of them are staged, but, try to tell the watchers that. All of these shows should be taken off the air or listed as the Reality/Fantasy Series.

You want reality, watch "the First 48" or a documentary or LOOK OUT YOUR FRONT DOOR. Thats reality. This nonsense is taking over North America. Boycott the sponsors of the shows, get them where it hurts. Look for example at Elizabeth Hasselbeck (now there is a twit for you) her only claim to fame is she was on "Survivor". What a sad state America has sunk into.
