Mohammed Zia Salehi, Top Karzai Aide, Appears To Have Been On CIA Payroll For Years

New York Times:

KABUL, Afghanistan -- The aide to President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan at the center of a politically sensitive corruption investigation is being paid by the Central Intelligence Agency, according to Afghan and American officials.

Mohammed Zia Salehi, the chief of administration for the National Security Council, appears to have been on the payroll for many years, according to officials in Kabul and Washington. It is unclear exactly what Mr. Salehi does in exchange for his money, whether providing information to the spy agency, advancing American views inside the presidential palace, or both.

The Wikileaks war files made it clear that the United States Government is funding the insurgency. This is a cycle whereby our tax dollars are taken, given to corrupt officials/contractors/businesses -who in turn hand it over to the taliban, al qaeda or local insurgents to fund their fight against us. Which is the reason used to justify us being there in the first place. A never ending cycle that benefits war contractors, shadow government agencies, and insurgent terrorist organizations at the detriment of innocent Afghani's, Iraqi's, and American's.

We must end these wars, there is no benefit in having our government spend trillions of dollars funding corrupt Afghani officials through unaccountable shadow government agencies.

I really don't like being a big, "I told you so" but I'm sooooo tired of the MSM as well as the Americans who are unwilling to study and learn about other countries, act as if this is news.

Karzai's c0rruption and all of his dirty connections have been known by virtually everybody outside of the U.S.

It's one thing that BushCo chose this c0rrupt m.u.r.d.e.r.i.n.g, drugdealing r@pist. But what's the excuse for 0Bama to not only keep this guy around but to invite him to the WH and engage in that BS photo opp and dinner at Biden's house.
Remember all of those incredibly kind remarks that Biden spewed out about Karzai?

They are all W@rPigz and they ALL need to be exposed for the damaging pieces of garbage that they are.

I admit; I was completely hoodwinked by 0bama and would love to have my vote back.

Unfortunately, politics is a very dirty game; The more power that a politician obtains' also lifts the amount of c0rruption that they need to engage in.

The amounts of money that I am hearing about here is staggering. It is supposedly in the Billions. They were being deposited to accounts in Dubai. This guy was arrested by the US backed Agency investigating corruption, and then ordered to be released by Karzai.. Would somebody explain to me again, how we are in control of this situation, and exactly how it benefits us.? After all, some of it is my money, and man, I can use it now.
