World Bodypainting Festival In Austria 2010 (NSFW PICTURES, VIDEOS)

The 2010 World Bodypainting Festival was held in Seeboden, Austria last July and judging from the pictures and video, it was pretty wild. They even held a ball!

The painting is almost impossibly elaborate and intricate, and the styles range from the glamorous to the strange to the downright scary.

There is some very impressive and intricate imagery. The added parts to the body are also great. The video presentations are not very good. Camera operators make the same mistakes over and over. What is the value in filming the bus or keyboard? Concentrate on the subject of the film. Stop swinging the camera all around. Focus on the subject for longer than a microsecond. Why the extreme closeups inside someone's ear? Why extreme closeups at all? Filming in the dark is worthless, get a light.

Um, this is all really, really, ugly. The images are loud, too busy, and cartoonish. I've seen hippie knick knacks at head shops with more restraint and artistry.
