Bobby Bright Speculates About Nancy Pelosi's Death: She 'Might Get Sick And Die'

While it might be politically popular among Republicans to bash House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, one Democrat may have crossed a line.

Alabama Rep. Bobby Bright, a Blue Dog Democrat, was asked whether he would vote for Nancy Pelosi for House Speaker at a political event on Saturday. He replied that a vote for House Speaker was a long way off.

Bright "joked that Pelosi might lose her own election, decide not to run for the speaker's job or otherwise not be available," reported the Montgomery Advertiser.

The Advertiser's reporter, Cosby Woodruff, told The Plum Line's Greg Sargent that Bright said, "heck, she might even get sick and die."

According to Woodruff's original report the remark "drew laughter from the crowd."

Amazing how you think that republicans have standards. But then again who would know better than a republican what 'no standards' looks like?

After all, these are the guys, who 'hike the Appalachian Trail', have a prostution ring on speed dial, dallies with congressional pages, divorces their wife on her sick bed, cross dresses, crashes planes like toys and leaves his wife for a better model (after all wife #! was broken), gets cozy with their staffers wife; then writes a big "loan" check from Mommy generously donated by mom and dad, and on and on and on.

BTW: Democrats never had a super majority. Read something for yourself before you parrot what the media tells you. Thank you for playing though. Always a pleasure!

If she comes down with a rare disease, then it would most likely be a homicide. A statistician could show this beyond a reasonable doubt.

The most likely culprit would be the CIA which has the most to lose if congress got its oversight powers back.

This is the exact reason we need ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENCY NOW so we don't have to speculate whether we have good government or not because we could see where the money goes and what crimes have or have not been committed.

TRANSPARENCY has to be the #1 issue for the American people or the bad guys will always win forever.

Lets get one thing straight.

Blue dogs aren't to the left.. they are really (R)'s and should receive the same amount of national funding that (R)'s get from the DNC.. none!

Of course these misogynistic, racist Republicans and Blue Dogs don't like Senator Pelosi. She is brilliantly effective. I am so comforted that she is 3rd in line for the presidency. She would be a great first female President. She very directly speaks the truth and she does it with conviction and passion. I can't believe American voters would like to see Boehner 3rd in line for the presidency, with his terrible work ethic and lack of smarts.
