"When I was a teenager and into materialistic things as most teenagers are, my father said to me, (at the time I didn't get it, but I do now): 'Baby girl, there 'ain't no luggage rack on a hearse. What matters are the people you love and that love you.'"

No problem is so big that you can't run away from it.

My friend who went through some rough financial times, was being hounded by creditors daily. Fed-up with their incessant harassment, he posed at his own roommate and told one creditor that my friend was doing time in jail for beating up a repeated caller. I heard that the calls are few and far between now.
