Beaches from San Diego to the Bay Area are being tested less often and in fewer locations, and some go untested for months, KTLA partner, the Los Angeles Times is reporting.
According to state records analyzed by The Times, the number of annual tests for bacteria has been nearly cut in half since 2005.
