The photo is not air-brushed. It's Photoshopped. Huffpo, welcome to the 21st Century (yeah, it is 10 years old now).

The ad was photographed with much better lighting. Retouched a little.

One thing they couldn't airbrush obviously is his never ending greasy look. This campaign screams sold in RIte Aid.

I saw him once up-close and personal. He could not be less "my type" but he is so gorgeous in person...I mean really, really gorgeous. Neither of these photos do his looks justice. I would actually say he in not photogenic, he is that good looking...even photos can't capture his phenomenal looks. The retouching is just sad, very, very sad. I wish we could just embrace people as they are, cause as he is just plain and simple is truly stunning. No more should be added. Just the truth, the truth is good enough.I saw him once up-close and personal. He could not be less "my type" but he is so gorgeous in person...I mean really, really gorgeous. Why is the Dolce & Gabbana ad using the Madame Tussauds' wax figure, instead of the real Matthew McConaughey?

The airbrushed one is creepy looking...... Looks like he is auditioning for a horror film!

Who picked the unairbrushed picture? He's a good looking guy but that photo is awful. Not the best picture to use when you want to make airbrushing look bad....

Forget about the airbrushing....Why doesn't no one ever discuss the hair plugs/implants this guy got? If anyone saw his hairline in A Time to Kill they'd know what I mean.

OK that is just creepy! The fashion industry really need to tone down the airbrushing as it makes their models look like wax figurines.

the thing is the real matt, looks much better than that ad photo.

So now men's images are being airbrushed and digitally manipulated to heck in magazines. What's the point? The digitally manipulated photo makes him look freakish compared to the photo on the right.

They airbrushed too much! They thinned his face and made him look weird. The guy does not have a fat face. He's well fit. D&G missed the boat on this one.
