I loved reading all his books as a child. Matilda is my favorite charter ever! I still watch the movie on tv when it is on.

Nothing will do justice until they make "My Uncle Oswald" into a film. My teachers taught me to read. Roald Dahl books taught me that, by 7 years old, there were other brilliantly macbre beings in the universe.

I have never laughed so hard or cried so mucah as when reading his books.

I'm the only person I personally know who was lucky enough to read these wonderful books before seeing the movies.

Now you know two. I've been a Dahl fan for about 35 years, and I'm proud to say that both my kids (now 22 and 15) have most of his kids books memorized. I don't know if I could pick a favorite, but I've always had a special fondness for "Matilda" and "The Witches."

Even though I don't personally know you, for that post my friend, you have gained another fan.

Loved Matilda when I was younger... even my parents used to call me Matilda for my passion for reading!
