So it's not officially the last weekend of summer, but it is September now, and after Labor Day, everything suddenly starts to feel a little more serious.
Take some time this weekend to get outside, enjoy the beautiful weather we're set to have, and stroll around the neighborhood. And while you're doing it, might as well have a few laughs, too.
This Sunday is the last chance of the year to take Second City's Neighborhood Tour, a walkabout in Old Town, near the headquarters of the legendary comedy theater. Written by Margaret Hicks, an experienced tour guide, the tour shows off the architecture and history of the neighborhood, while keeping walkers and passersby laughing.
It also highlights neighborhood haunts of the many legendary Second City alumni, like Bill Murray, Tim Meadows, Jim Belushi, Steve Carrell, Joan Rivers, and countless others.
If you're interested, Second City recommends that you order tickets in advance online.
