Female Fan Killed By Corinthian Team Bus

A 21-year-old woman died Wednesday after getting hit by a team soccer bus in Sao Paulo, according to Reuters. The Brazilian club, Corinthian, was celebrating its 100th birthday.

Officials said the woman, identified as Amanda Ferraz Geremias, slipped by the bus' back wheel as it passed by the 100,000 fans who attended, the AP reports.

"This was a very big tragedy," club president Andres Sanchez said on the team's official website.

Sanchez also said the Brazilian club will help the woman's family.
