Why Women Are Fleeing Wall Street

Economists are struggling to explain an exodus of women from Wall Street, but one is not the least bit surprised by the data: Sylvia Ann Hewlett, founding president and chairman of the Center for Work-Life Policy, a nonprofit think tank based in New York.

FINS.com reporter Kyle Stock sat down with Hewlett to discuss how Wall Street's tarnished reputation has changed its demographics, the challenges of reentering the workforce and why the industry still isn't doing enough to woo women.
