''Mad Men' Jumps The Shark' Imagines What The 10th Season Could Look Like (VIDEO)

First Posted: 09/06/10 10:55 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 06:35 PM ET

Any watcher of AMC's retro advertising drama "Mad Men" knows how insane the show can be. Between all the affairs, divorces, fights, drinking, smoking, and more drinking, it's amazing they find time to sell any ads. Fans continue watching either because or in spite of the erratic plot lines, but what if "Mad Men" REALLY jumped the shark? Babelgum gives us an idea of what the 1970s could do to Don Draper and the gang around the 10th season.

Show has to last into the 80s so Roger Sterling can come to terms with his HIV/AIDS. Better yet. Don can be patient zero for HIV.

This is ridiculous. Everyone knows Peter Campbell goes disco in Season 18.

Is a micro-bio like a micro-brew?

Moderately amusing, but thankfully the show has definitely NOT jumped the Shark, and hopefully Don won't go the Fonzie / Hawkeye route.

FYI, Matt Weitner has said he plans the series to end in the year 1970, but that doesn't mean it will go 10 years.

It'd be funnier if they used some basic math. The tenth season would be 1969, not the mid-70's (first season was 1960).

I had a boss once that ran around to any person he could and made a joke about there hair, clothes, car, teeth. After awhile it wasnt funny. I came to the conclusion that the only reason he made everyone feel bad, is to make himself feel better. I found him crying in his office a week before he was fired. The makers of this flick need something to make them feel better. I suppose that they would have us watch "Modern Life"? Would somebody please hand them a tissue.

Great concept. WORST POSSIBLE EXECUTION. A lot of fans of the show have commented recently that they'd love to see Don Draper 10 years in the future hanging out at Studio 54 and the like. This video totally misses the mark. Garbage.

Did you know that the actor that plays Glen is Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner's son?

That was hilarious, but I don't see Mad Men lasting 10 seasons.

I never watched Mad Men before about six months agao when I did a marathon viewing of all episodes over about a month, having seen it all the way through (sometime 2 -3 episodes a day) I can deffinatly say the show has jumped the shark. It has lost a certain feel, the characters are not the same, not to deny them evolution but they are doing things they would never seem to do, and the story lines seem a little thin this season.

First thing you call that a marathon, I could've watched all the shows in in a week. Secondly, you're dead wrong, the characters are evolving. Weiner is brave he's not afraid of cutting and adding interesting characters like you would see in an actual office.

Someone's opinion, cannot be wrong, or, "dead wrong" as it was so nicely put.

If the intent of this video was to be funny, it missed the mark. Stupid came to mind.
