Louisiana Democratic Party Makes Fundraising Plea To Convert David Vitter Prostitution Video Into TV Ad

The Louisiana Democratic Party is hoping to turn their recently released, highly successful web video highlighting the surprisingly oft-forgotten prostitution scandal of Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) into a shorter television ad, and they're asking supporters for a little cash boost in order to do so.

"We need to get Forgotten Crimes on television in Louisiana," the Louisiana Democratic Party writes in a fundraising email. "Plenty of people have seen it on YouTube, but many more will see it if it's on television. Please contribute $10 right now to help us get Forgotten Crimes on the air in Louisiana!"

According to YouTube, the Louisiana Democratic Party's "Forgotten Crimes" web video has received nearly 27,000 views since being posted last week. The video was released in the wake of a poll that implied that somewhere around 35 percent of Louisianans were unaware of Vitter's sexual indiscretions.

The latest round of polling shows Vitter with a sizeble lead over Democratic challenger Rep. Charlie Melancon.

Let's Get 'Forgotten Crimes' on Television!

Last week, we released "Forgotten Crimes: Lawmaker, Lawbreaker," a brief documentary looking at how David Vitter broke the law and got away with it. The response to Forgotten Crimes has been unbelievable. Our video has received great press coverage and nearly 30,000 folks have viewed it on the internet! Now, we need your help to take it to the next level. We need to get Forgotten Crimes on television in Louisiana. Plenty of people have seen it on YouTube, but many more will see it if it's on television. Please contribute $10 right now to help us get Forgotten Crimes on the air in Louisiana!

A recent independent poll found that an astonishing number of likely voters in Louisiana are unaware that David Vitter admitted breaking the law but was never held accountable. We need your help to get the truth out.

Married men that get involved with prostitutes, apparently, fail to understand that two women are being taken advantage of. -Married women do the same with prostitutes, but it is not that often that the husband will "Stand by his Woman", after public exposure.

Some members of congress are not only 'Johns' (or 'Jane's') , in a literal sense , but are willing prostitute their soul to get reelected.

Unmarried people do the same, but few ever become or remain Senators, thankfully.

The good thing is that a David Vitter victory in November will guarantee job security for prostitutes living in DC and Louisiana. Also, Craigslist may benefit from a Vitter-loophole allowing them to continue providing "adult services". Thank you Senator Vitter, you are a true man of family values...if by family values, you mean having extramarital affairs with prostitutes.
