The war against Iraq was something of a hassle, though not an inevitable one. Thanks, you sniveling lapdog.

The most decorous thing to do for Bush's lap-dog is to stop yapping.
Blair was a boring shill and understudy to Bush and Cheney.

Another way to look at bliar's cancellation is in financial terms . . . . he makes mega bucks from lecture tours all around America . . and many Americans think he is wonderful . . just why . . I don't know . . but that is beside the point . . . . and he is the special peace envoy in the Middle East and well I am very sure he knows that the protest will get big media coverage just like it did in Ireland . . and tony does not want that . . it might affect his money making opportunities in the US . . .

Gotta respect the Brits for mounting a protest. I guess they still get to exercise free speech in that country, without the White House calling them unpatriotic.

The reality is that these 'protesters' are a tiny minority.

A fairly crude poll taken on one of the talk-radio stations in London yesterday suggested that only about 5% of people supported the protesters.

Blair did not use a ghost writer for which I respect him. It actually makes me want to read his book.

A sad day for free speech in the UK when a three times election winning PM has to cancel a book launch because of the threats of an anti democratic mob. Have blogged about it here:

sad day for freedom of religion when pubs whip up hate for a religion, interfering in the building of a community center.

You protect a war criminals right to free speech., and reject the protesters right to free speech.
