The good news is that there appears to be a lot of very clueless people in Chicago who will support him as mayor, and, they deserve him. As long as he gets out of Washington, I support him as mayor and thank God I do not live there....

I dont like him. I hope he runs and gets out of Obama's administration. I would love to see Ed Rendell in that office. He is a cool guy and more progressive.

I hope Rahm runs (which he'll do), and I hope Rahm wins (which he'll do).

Even after he had previously worked in the White House I saw him standing in the rain, in front of the old grocery store at the corner of Broadway & Wellington in Chicago years ago. This powerful man, being real, hanging out in the rain on a cold day, meeting regular people and asking for an opportunity to share his ideas and ask for a vote.

As my local Congressman I was very satisfied with his accomplishments for my district.

He is politically savvy, well tuned to what legislation passes or what needs a push, but will ultimately serve the people and the great city of Chicago well.

I hope Rahm does get the mayors opening. He's tough as nuts and does care about the people her serves - in addition to being a pit bull. All and all - a great combo like italian beef and sausage from Portillos. Gotta love it.
