Jessica Simpson, Joe Zee & More Spotted At Thursday's Fashion Shows (PHOTOS, POLL)

Can one exist without the other? Designers depend on celebrities to bring attention to their collections, and celebrities depend on designers to give them (usually free) clothes. Part of that partnership involves sitting front row at Fashion Week--which makes things more fun for us spectators. Below, check out who showed up on the first day. Jessica Simpson's dress is so unflattering on her. She looks like a line backer in that dress. And Lynn Yaeger (whoever she is) needs to be ashamed of herself. Why would you leave the house looking like that? A little too old to be playing dress up dear.

That dress works for Jessicas legs....I love the contrast between the turban and the jeans on whoever he was(can't remember his name) ......I hate the red suit she looks like she's playing Mrs. Clause in a play....the weren't worth mentioning
