Casino Killing: 2 Suspects Arrested In The Murder Of Casino Winner

SANTA ANA -- A man and a woman are under arrest in the robbery and murder of a Westminster man who was killed after he won a large amount of money at a casino. A third suspect is still at large.

The suspects are identified as Tad Allen Carroll, a 41 year old transient, and Barbara Ann Hamel, 47, of Long Beach. The pair was arrested Thursday on suspicion of killing Chi Ngoc Bui, 55, according to Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department.

Carroll and Hamel were booked a the Santa Ana City Jail on suspicion of murder, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit murder, Bertagna said. They are being held without bail.
