Tom Brady Car Crash Victim's Family Angry At Media

NFL FanHouse:

A passenger from the other car in Tom Brady's car accident on Thursday, 49-year-old Rogerio Rodrigues of Fall River, Mass., is reportedly severely injured and remains in the hospital undergoing surgery on a broken back, according to a boston.com report.

Rodrigues' sister laid into the media on Friday, upset that her family is being portrayed as the cause of the accident and not being concerned for.

Hey, nobody cared when the Patriots were proven to be cheating all those years, why should they care about the details of an accident between TOM BRADY and immigrant-sounding nobodies? I'm glad you asked. The fact the Patriots cheated their way to their titles is a fact that does not get near the amount of play it deserves. Every discussion about Brady's greatness, Belichick's scheming, or Kraft's bowel movements should be (but isn't) punctuated with the fact that, for several years, the Patriots' offense had knowledge of the defense's plays and their defense had knowledge of the upcoming offensive plays.

So, the reason I mention the fact that Brady is the beneficiary of a legacy of cheating in an article about his car accident that you seem to have more knowledge of than has been made available is because the Patriots cheated their way to their titles, and Brady was a major beneficiary of the Patriots cheating their way to their titles.

BTW, does anyone remember that time it was proven that the Patriots cheated their way to their titles?

"Ludgero Rodrigues, 21, was behind the wheel of the minivan. He was later ticketed for running the red light that caused the accident.

Rodrigues has an extensive driving record that totals four pages dating back to March 2008. On his record he has several suspensions, a Nov. 2009 accident in New Bedford, Mass. and a refusal to take a breathalyzer, among other violations."

Shouldn't we wait for the police accident investigation team to conclude their investigation? If someone committed a traffic violation they would be charged. None of this has happened yet. So I propose everyone wait and see.

Sorry but this is a rare time when there are lots of eye witnesses. The kid practically ran over a lady walking her dogs & she is positive he ran the red because she had a clear to cross light.

At first,seeing the picture of the t-boned van,I though that maybe Brady was at fault in this accident and that he was getting special treatment because of his fame. Reading the account the driver gave,this seemed possible. This spurred me to look closer.

The key point not mentioned in the linked NFL Fanhouse article was that a pedestrian was crossing the street the van was traveling down, with a "Walk" sign. This makes it a slam dunk that the light was red and the driver of the van ran a red light.
Tom Brady is lucky he did not get broadsided and killed by this negligent driver.
The idea that Brady should have "reached out" to the guy who nearly killed him through dangerous driving habits is simply incomprehensible to me.
