I fully expect New Orleans to sustain a reduction in service as a result of this merger. We currently have three United nonstops a day to both Denver and L.A., and I'm a fan and frequent flyer of these routes. However I fear the merger will cost us those flights, which will be replaced by 'direct' or plane-change service thru the new United hub in Houston. Bummer.
