Leighton Meester: The More I Think About Designing, The More I Want To Do It

Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester of "Gossip Girl" might just be the next actress to cross over into designing, Vogue UK reports. She told reporters, "The more I think about it the more it sounds like something I would want to do. I don't know if it'd be any time soon but I'd really like to work on a collaboration with somebody -- I always have ideas for stuff like that. The problem is I always have so much admiration for so many designers and for so many different styles, it'd difficult to hone in on just one look but why not?"

So who are Leighton's style icons? She lists Cate Blanchett, Audrey Hepburn and Helen Mirren, who "is very sexy." And Meester has certainly been a fixture at this year's New York Fashion Week, sitting front row at Derek Lam, celebrating Fashion's Night Out at Roger Vivier and hitting V's New York Issue Celebration on Monday night. Would you wear her designs?

Once you become famous, do you automatically know how to design fashion? But alas, I'll wait and see to judge.

She needs a new plastic surgeon. She looks like a Modigliani and not in the good way.
Wow she thinks about clothes, I think about brains sometimes that doesn't make me a brain surgeon

Just what we need, another self-absorbed celebrity who thinks they can design without any actual formal instruction in design.
