ABC Developing Show About Vice President

ABC is developing a drama series about the Vice President — and it includes a sexy twist.

Variety reports (subscription required) that the network is plotting an untitled hourlong drama series about the (fictional) Vice President and his female chief of staff written by Sheldon Turner and Shaun Cassidy.

There is expected to be a romantic plotline between the chief of staff and the Vice President's son, and the show is reportedly "less about politics and more about office dynamics" and the "underdog nature of the veep's team," according to Variety.

The classic White House TV show, "The West Wing," featured the Vice President as only a minor character in the series.
