Stewart On Tea Party Wins: 'How Will Democrats F**k This Up?' (VIDEO)

Huffington Post

In a segment dubbed "Beyond The Palin" on "The Daily Show" last night, Jon Stewart discussed the Tea Party victories in Tuesday night's primaries, and how the Democrats will undoubtedly sabotage themselves come November.

Stewart first brought up the reasons why Tea Party wins like Carl Paladino, who won the Republican nomination for New York governor, and Christine O'Donnell, who won the Republican senate primary in Delaware, are a huge plus for their Democratic competitors. Paladino has come under fire for pornographic emails, and O'Donnell's views on sex and marriage, particularly her belief that masturbation is adultery, make her too Conservative for some traditional GOP voters.

"The Palin is strong in this one," Stewart said regarding O'Donnell, but does this really mean that Democrats are a shoo-in for November? Not exactly. To find out just "how Democrats will f**k this up," Stewart turned to political experts John Oliver, Wyatt Cynac, and Jason Jones, who offered three very engaging -- and believable -- theories.

There is something about knowing that you have people that care about you and what you have to work with.I know once President Obama sees all of the people that are going to be at the rallies this will get him to do even better for all of us that have his back.Like I said there is something about knowing that there are people out that rutting for you.You will hold your head up higher you walk a little strighter, and your con. is better, you don't feel so down.I know that this will give him a lift.Peolpe forget that he is human just like them.He get sad too and he may feel down from time to time. After all the republicans have fox news and the teabagers and so many others. But come what may he is my President and how proud I am that he is in the white house working for me!!

The Democrats will have another Shirley Sherrod moment where they throw an innocent person under the bus after Fox and Friends manipulate another video where a person is falsely accused of kicking puppies, the elderly or claiming that premarital sex goes great with a firm zucchini. Later the person would be fired without cause only to discover altered footage but by this time the puppies would turn out to be rats, the elderly would turn out to be Kim Jong Il and the sex thing, well that turned out to be true after all, this is the party of Clinton.

Christine O'Donnell is seriously Sarah Palin's little sister.

Dems should not be overconfident in regards to the American Taliban. More and more "commonsense" has replaced critical thinking and not to forget Diebold still waiting in the wings to "help America vote."

If there are minimum IQ requirements to recruit military personnel; why there are no IQ requirements to file candidacy in order to take seat in the Senate?

I can not believe Tea Party “candidates” are wining primaries. At least you can try to have an intelligent discussion with true Republicans but the Tea Party is like dealing with a Terminator: “It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever,” until we are deep into an economic depression.

I don't remember there being a minimum IQ requirement for military service. I was never prompted for proof of my IQ or administered an actual IQ test. As far as I know, it is still the prospective soldier's ASVAB test scores that determine his or her eligibility insofar as testing of learned concepts is concerned. The ASVAB is an aptitude test, not an IQ test. It is also obscenely easy (hey, Forrest Gump passed it, right? :)). As a side note, MENSA does not recognize it as a valid test for proof of intelligence. Though there are various other military tests that it will accept, to my knowledge, those are not administered to prospective soldiers prior to enlistment.

I get that your heart is in the right place: you want intelligent, qualified leadership for our country. This is just a clarification regarding your comments about IQ requirements for military recruits.

They will screw this up by being lackeys to the exact same financial dream team that has dominated American finance for the last 30 years. They will only win if the banksters deem it to be so.

I have very little doubt that the Dems will snatch defeat from the very jaws of victory

"common vulgarity" as in "common conservative values"

"vulgarity" is in the eye of the beholder, I find much of what Palin spouts to be extremely vulgar

Here's why the dems will f*** this up.
The dems are funded by the exact same corporations that the repubs are. They have no desire to change anything. the goal is not to change america and mess up the gravy train.
The goal is to keep dem supporters fighting with repub supporters.
At least they are up front with their sleeziness.
