Thomas Muller Scores Incredible Goal (VIDEO)

German striker Thomas Muller scored an incredible goal in a game between FC Bayern and AS Roma on Wednesday. Muller received a header and nailed it just inside the far goal post to give his team a 1-0 lead. Miroslav Klose scored the second goal and FC Bayern went onto win 2-0. Muller had an amazing 2010 World Cup, recording five goals and winning the Golden Boot.

Amazing bend off the outside of the right foot, and at some distance for that shot -- nearly at the edge of the box! Muller was the definitely highlight of the excellent German team in the 2010 World Cup -- love the speed and attack he brings to the pitch!

Easy some say , well try kicking a right hook with the outside of your right foot. Also from that angle the opening window was less than 4 feet wide. The ball also split two defenders. Muller was the 19 yr old kid nobody in Germany wanted on their World cup team because they thought he was too young. He ended up leading his team in scoring and winning the "Golden Boot" as the hightest scorer in the tournament. He is deadly because he sets up and shoots incredibly fast.

I think that most of you are saying it wasn't such a big deal never played the game seriously.

The extraordianry part of the kick is that he did it with the OUTSIDE of his right foot. Goals like that are uncommon, especially one that involves such an extreme curve. He had defenders on either side and had to bend the shot past the one to his right AND thread it through some action of multiple players in front of the net. He got that wicked curve on it that kept it from hitting that traffic.

There's much less control using the outside of the foot, and getting such an extreme bend on it from the outside of the foot showed incredible control, along with all other factors involved. It was a complicated shot. Like a trick shot. Amazing goal. Yes, a very big deal.
