Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick had another solid performance on Sunday, leading the Eagles to a 35-32 road victory over the Detroit Lions.
Vick threw for 284 yards, two touchdowns and rushed for 37, adding more fuel to a quarterback controversy in Philadelphia.
Late in the first half on Detroit's 17-yard-line, the Lions almost nailed Vick for a sack. But he made a spin move, scrambled out of the pocket and turned it into a 10-yard gain and a first down. It was one of several stellar plays from Vick.
"He was like a kid in a candy store," coach Andy Reid said of Vick. "He was so excited about getting a second chance at being a starter in this league."
Vick played well in Week 1 after starting quarterback Kevin Kolb was knocked out of the game with a concussion.
